October Non-Beauty Favorites

Hey Dolls!

October is over and November is underway. Which could only mean one thing... it's time for my October non-beauty favorites. So, let's jump into it!

Let's begin with music...
  • Jealous by Nick Jonas - I LOVE this song! This song shows how grown up Nick Jonas is. It definitely does not sound any of the songs the Jonas Brothers made for Disney. If you are into music that falls in the category of pop/rock or you are a Nick Jonas fan this song is for you. FYI is new album is suppose to drop sometime next month, so look out for that.
Onto food...
  • I have been really into Fuji apples lately. I love that they are sweet, but not candy sweet. I love eating apples with cookie butter, peanut butter, or caramel sauce.
  • I have been trying to reduce the amount gluten I consume. I am hoping to transition to being totally gluten free. However, it has been a bit of a process for me. To make this process easier for myself, I have been introducing a few gluten free foods into my diet such as almond milk and brown rice pasta. In addition to eating and drinking gluten free foods, I have been attempting to create delicious gluten free recipes. When I am totally gluten free and have done more recipes hopefully I can share some of the recipes with you Dolls.
Next up is TV shows...
  •   How to get away with Murder- OMG I am in love with this show! The show is about a lawyer (who also is a law professor) and a few of her students. The story follows two murders and there are quite a bit of confusing flashbacks that get less confusing as the series goes on. This is a show about murder, lust, lies, and suspense. I don't want to give anymore details away, so I don't spoil it for anyone who is going to watch it. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Scandal or other drama based shows. I DO NOT recommend this show to children.
That's all folks!

This month's favorites are quite short because I have been busy with school.

I hope you all found this post helpful if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave them on the comments section below. If you would like to contact me or follow me of social media please refer to the 'follow me' tab above. There you will find all of the platforms I am on. Remember to share and 1+ this blog and post. My Night Time Routine

Hey Dolls!

My night time routine is very simple. I am not the type of person who likes to overcomplicate my routines. Especially at night. An easy, quick, calming routine is what I enjoy most. With all that said, today's post is going to be my night time routine. So, let's jump into it!

P.S. if you are interested in my day time routine go to the "Lifestyle" tab above. There you will find my morning routine and plenty of other posts.

Let's begin...

Whether I am coming home from school, if I have spent the whole day at home, or if I was running errands all day I always eat a snack as soon as I get home.

However, lately I have been starting my night routine by eating dinner. I have been trying to eat a filling dinner that is mostly made up of veggies. Like a big salad for example. I also have a glass of water with my dinner as well. This just helps me burn more calories while sleeping.

After dinner I go to my bedroom and find my clothes for the next day. As well as my clothes for bed.

Once I find my clothes I straighten up my room. Then I spend an hour or so doing homework, blogging, or catching up on my favorite TV shows.

After a little bit of down time I head to the bathroom. At this time I take my shower or bath. Once my shower is done I brush my teeth, do my night time skin care routine (I will link my post to my updated night time skin care routine below.), applying my body lotions and such.

The next thing I do is take my daily vitamins.

Once I have taken my vitamins I pack my backpack or purse. It makes it easier to run out the door the next morning.

Then I simply head to bed. I usually don't fall right to sleep. I might watch another TV show, read, or play a game. Once I am sleepy I cuddle up with my body pillow and go to bed.

That's all folks!

That was my night time routine. I hope you all enjoyed that. If you have any comments feel free to leave them in the comments section below. If you would like to contact me please refer to the "Follow me" tab above. Remember to share this blog with your friends and family. Thank you for stopping by the makeup junkie. I hope you have a spectacular week!

My Morning Routine

Hey Dolls!

Sometimes you Dolls send me emails requesting posts. A while back I received a email from one of you asking about my morning routine. It has taken me awhile to get to it because I didn't really have one at the time it was requested. However, I have recently been motivated to be more productive in the mornings. So, I have come up with a morning routine that works for me. I figured due to that email request that you all would like to see a post on my morning routine. With that said today's post is my morning routine. So, without further rambling let's jump into it!

P.S. If you do not know how to obtain my email, refer to the 'Follow me' tab above. There you will find my email and Google+ account.

Let's begin...

First thing I do when I wake up is make my bed. I try to remind myself to do this but, sometimes I forget. Then, I use the bathroom. I figure that is normal because most of us sleep anywhere from 6-8 hours (maybe more or less.) and that is a long time to go without using the bathroom. So naturally, I go when I wake up.

Once I am finished making my bed and going to the bathroom, I do a morning workout 4-5 times a week.  I always do 75 squats then I do a 30 to 45 minute workout. I use to do abs building workouts in the mornings. Now, I switch between yoga, morning jogs outside, or getting on the elliptical.

After my workout I eat breakfast. That varies depending on what's in my fridge, if I have the energy to cook a meal, how hungry I am, or if I am in a hurry to get somewhere. However, in the last week I have been drinking a 8 oz. glass of cold water with lemon and ginger. I will not say that having lemon and ginger in my water is good tasting but, I will say it is very energizing. Once I have finished eating I take my morning vitamins.

The next thing I do is start the  shower. I prefer my shower water to be hot. While my shower water is warming up I brush my teeth, get my clothes ready, or pack my lunch for school. Then, I take my shower. I don't wash my hair or shave in the mornings because that takes too much time. I prefer my morning showers to be quick.

Once my shower is complete I move onto my day time skin care routine. I recently posted an updated routine that I will link below. Then I get dressed, do my hair, and do my makeup routine. These steps usually takes me 35 to 45 minutes to complete. (By the way, I don't wear makeup everyday so the time could be less. Again it varies.)

After I have completed my makeup and hair I put final touches on my outfit. I.E. perfume, jackets, shoes. jewelry. By the way, don't generally wear much jewelry but, if I am in the mood I will put a little on. At this point I am ready for my day.

P.S. This is my full morning routine. If I am running late or feeling lazy I will not do this routine. I have a lazy day/running late routine on my blog. I will link it below.

That's all folks!

That was my morning routine. I hope you all enjoyed it. If you have questions or comments please feel free to put them in the comments section below. If you would like to contact me please refer to the "Follow me" tab above. Remember to share this blog and post. Thank you for stopping by the makeup junkie. I hope you have an amazing week!

Fall Must Haves

Hey Dolls!

Fall is almost upon us. Which means it's time to prepare for the cooler weather. To help you Dolls
prepare today's post is going to be my Fall Must Haves. I will be sharing my beauty, fashion, food, and skincare must haves. So, let's jump into it!

Let's begin with skincare...
  1. Hyaluronic Acid Serum- This is a great serum for hydrating and perfecting the skin. This absorbs well into my skin. Does not feel as greasy residue or a sticky film. I purchased mine on Amazon. I will leave the link below. BTW: As many of you know I have oily skin. Although my skin is oily I do use moisturizing night time skin care products. These products keep my skin soft and supple. So, when I am 90 I will look 70.
  2. Creighton's Body Butter- I adore these body butters! They are super hydrating but, never sticky or hard to absorb and these body butters smell outstanding. (My personal favorite is the mango and papaya balance.) I find mine at Ross. They usually run me about $3.99.
  3. Carmex- Lip balm is important year round however, it is super important in cooler months. This is because lips can become extra dry and chapped. My favorite is Carmex. I love Carmex because it is medicated and it has an SPF.
Onto scents...
  1. Beyoncé Heat- I love all of Beyoncé's perfumes but, Heat is perfect for Fall. It is a warm, spicy scent that is never overbearing. This scent is super lightweight and great for everyday wear.
  2. Pumpkin Spice- I love the glade pumpkin spice air freshener. It is the perfect mix between spice and sweet.
Now fashion...
P.S. I don't have any links to clothing items because I have had these for many months/years. So, I will be just listing staples in my wardrobe.
  1.  Flannels- I love flannels. Patterns are a great way to spice up a basic outfit. I usually pair flannels with skinny jeans, combat boots, and a simple pair of hooped earrings.
  2. Combat boots- Combat boots are the easiest way to had some edge to a basic outfit. usually pair them with jeans and a simple t-shirt.
  3. Long Sleeve T-shirts- Long sleeve t-shirts are a staple in my Fall wardrobe. I pair them with skater skirts, jeans, leggings, and yoga pants.
  4. Scarves- I don't think I could make it through the Fall without scarves! I have several different designs because they are perfect for accessorizing a basic look. For example, a long sleeve t-shirt and a skater shirt.
  5. Tights and Leggings- I love to have tights because I can pair it with any dress or skirt for warmth. I love leggings because they are a great alterative to pants.
  6. Bodycon dresses- I usually invest in a good bodycon dress because they are great for lazy or running late days. I usually throw on a solid color bodycon dress, a scarf, a jean jacket, and some heeled booties.
  7. Riding boots- I kid you not I wear my riding boots throughtout all of Fall, Winter, and early Spring. A good pair of riding boots can make any look. The following are some of the ways I wear riding boots...
    1. A sweater dress, tights, and riding boots
    2. A long Flannel, long sleeve t-shirt, skinny jeans, and riding boots.
    3. A cropped sweater, high waisted jeans, and riding boots.
    4. Sweater, jeans, and riding boots.
    5. A bodycon dress, a jacket, scarf, and riding boots.
    6. High to low blouse, leggings, and riding boots
  8. Sweaters- I live in sweaters during the Fall. They are a great way to stay warm and chic.
  9. Cardigans and Jackets- I have long cardigans, knit cardigans, leather jackets, jean jackets, etc. They are all a great way to layer up and depth to an otherwise boring outfit.
  10. Gold Chain necklaces- I love chucky, statement, warm toned jewelry during this time of year. Which is why gold chain necklaces are my go-to pieces of jewelry.
Next up, nail polishes...
  1. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color in 340 Cinna-snap- This nail polish is perfect. It is a beautiful cranberry color. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves deep colors.
  2. Metallic dark purple nail polish- I love metallic dark purple nail polish quite a bit. I love it so much that I actually have two nail polishes that fit in this category. The first is Sephora by O.P.I in Just a Little Dangerous and the second is Wet n Wild Mega Last in 217B Disturbia.
  3. Sinful Color in 1034 Beau Khaki- This is a gorgeous moss green color. I love that this is like a bold in the sense that it is green but, it is subtle in the sense that it is a muted color.
  4. Wet n Wild Mega Last in 201C Wet Cement- This my go-to muted purple. (Which is quite unique in my opinion.) It has an amazing grayish purple tone to it. I have been using this color every Fall for the last three years.
  5. Gold Nail Polish- I love warm, metallic colors. So of course I love gold nail polish. I have two favorites which are Sephora by O.P.I  in Keep me on my Mistletoes and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color in Going for the Gold.
  6. Sinful Color in 813 What's Your Name- I LOVE BLACK NAIL POLISH! (If you didn't know... now you do.) Black nail polish is my go-to color year round. So, when I found this black nail polish with navy blue shimmery particles in it I went nuts. (to say the least.) This color is a great twist on a basic staple of mine. I highly recommend it to you Dolls!
  7. Maybelline Color Show in 430 Onyx Rush- I figured sense I mentioned my love affair with black nail polish I would mention my favorite black nail polish of all time. I like this product because it is pigmented and true to color. I hate it when black products are a dull black. (Almost like a dark gray instead of black.)
  8. Sinful Colors in 949 Nirvana- This is a mauve-y medium brown nail polish. It is a great everyday nail polish because it is so neutral toned.
  9. O.P.I in You Callin' Me a Lyre? This is a gorgeous sheer, milky pink shade. It is about the most sheer nail polish I own. I use this when I don't want too much color on my nails but I want them to still look polished.
  10. Wet n Wild Mega Last in 204B Private Viewing- This is the perfect nude nail polish for my skin tone. It has a mix of pink and brown in it.
Now for my favorite stuff!... MAKEUP!
  1. Urban Decay Naked Palette- This is a gorgeous warm toned, neutral eyeshadow palette. It has a great variety of shades inside. I can transition from day to night by just using this palette.
  2. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette- This is a neutral palette. The tones inside are rose gold. Which is a mix between cool and warm tones. Again this has a variety of shades which make it great for day to night use.
  3. ELF 32 color eyeshadow palette in Warm- This was the first eyeshadow palette I owned and I still have it an use it. It is a staple for me because it is affordable and has a great variety of shades. It isn't as good quality as other palettes but with a good primer and/ or eyeshadow base and a good set of brushes it does the trick. I enjoy it because it has some amazing deep purple, mauve, and burgundy shades which are essential for Fall makeup!
  4. Wet n Wild Shimmer Palette in Carnaval in Rio- This a gorgeous copper highlight. It really is great to pair with a deep purple eyeshadow look. I won't go too far into detail with this because I do have a full review on this palette on my blog. I will link it below.
  5. Wet n Wild Shimmer Palette in Rose Gold Goddess- This is another amazing highlight to pair with a neutral tones eyeshadow look. Again I don't go into too much detail here because I have a review of this palette which is linked below.
  6. NYX cream blush in Diva- This is a beautiful cool toned red blush. This is highly pigmented and long lasting. It is great for pairing with cool toned looks or neutral toned looks.
  7. Profusion Twinkle Twinkle 5 color eyeshadow palettes- These are the best drugstore eyeshadow palette I have ever used. Each shade is buttery and highly pigmented. Plus they are only a dollar and sold at select Walgreens. The only issue is the don't have any matte shadows in them which means you would need to find matte transition shades else where. I have two of these palettes. The first is the purple palette which as a white shade, a lilac shade, a cool toned deep purple shade, a navy blue, and a black. The second is the green palette which as a medium brown shade, a dark brown shade, a light green shade, a dark teal shade, and an extremely dark blue shade.
  8. Wet n Wild lipstick in 918D Cherry Bomb- This lipstick is a semi-matte cranberry color. I have been using this shade for two years and I can say it is a great drugstore lipstick. It is long lasting, creamy, and highly pigmented.
  9. Milani HD Advanced Lip Color in 118 Premiere Plum- This is a glossy medium purple color.  (I wouldn't say it is plum at all.) It really reminds me of  lip balm because of how moisturizing it is. It gives a sheer application. However, it is buildable. (Which means you can apply more product to intensify the color payoff.) I love this color for everyday use. It is a great way to add a little bit of color without going too bold. I generally pair it with winged liner.
  10. Milani Lipstick in 24 Black Cherry- Similar to the Wet n Wild Cherry Bomb Lipstick I mentioned earlier except it is a tad bit darker and it has a sheen to it. Other than that they are pretty much the shade color.
  11. Jordana Easyliner in Coco Loco- This is a neutral toned brown lip liner which is great for making a nude lip color darker or simply for adding definition to my lips for any other color.
  12. Jordana Easyliner in Terra Kiss- This is a red-ish, mauve-y lip liner which I love to pair with mauve lip colors to add definition to my lips.
  13. Jordana Easyliner in Cabernet- This lip liner is the same color as the Milani Black Cherry Lipstick. Which is what I pair it with. Sometimes I pair it with the Wet n Wild Cherry Bomb lipstick as well.

Let's move to food...
  1. Chai tea Lattes- I love these because they spicy, warm, and comforting. They are a great change in my daily coffee routine. I did post my recipe on the blog last week.
  2. Starbucks White Mocha- It's available all year round however, I love to get this when it is cooler out.
  3. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte- This is a seasonal drink that is super cozy. It has the right amount of spice that makes it my ideal fall drink.
That's all Folks!

That was all of my Fall must haves. I know it seems like a lot of stuff but I really do use all of these things in the Fall.

I hope you all found this post to be helpful. If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments section below. August Non-beauty Favorites

Hey Dolls!

August is over and September is upon us. Which means it's time for my August non-beauty favorites. So, let's jump into it!

Let's begin with food!

  1. Multigrain Cheerios Dark Chocolate Crunch: These are out of this world good! The cereal consists of multigrain Cheerios, dark chocolate Cheerios and, dark chocolate crunchy clusters. It tastes like chocolate heaven in a bowl. I highly recommend this cereal to anyone who loves chocolate as much as me!
Now to music!
  1. James Bay- Let It Go: I adore this song. I literally listen to it about 10 times... In a row... Everyday. James Bay is a soulful singer with an Alternative flare. His voice reminds me of Sam Smith but, his music style reminds me of John Mayer. He recently dropped an album. (Which is equally as fantastic as this song.) I recommend him to people who love soulful music like John Mayer, Sam Smith, or John Legend
  2. Jesse McCartney- In Technicolor: This album is about two months old. However, I downloaded it this past month because I loved the first half of the album (which dropped this past December). This album reminds me a lot of Justin Timberlake's last album. It has an old school edge. It's chalked full of love songs and up-beat rhythms. It's great for people who love Justin Timberlake or up-beat love songs.
  3. Drake- 0 to 100/The Catch-up: This reminds me a lot of  Drake's older albums. He delivers hip pop with a R&B flare. In my opinion this song definitely goes hard. Anyone who loves Drake or Hip Hop will love this song.
  4. Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Jessie J- Bang Bang: This song is amazing to say the least. Ariana and Jessie voices make this song amazing. I love that song's old school, girl group feel. It's definitely is a song that can put you in a good mood. As for Nicki's verse I personally don't think she made the song good. For me she was just there. I honestly could care less about her part. It really just sounds like rambling. Of course if you are a Nicki Minaj fan you will love that song as well. I recommend it to anyone who loves pop music and dynamic voices.
Let's move to YouTubers...

WhatWouldLizzyDo
  1. What Would Lizzy Do- Lizzy is a beauty YouTuber. I have been watching her for about two months and I can honestly say her videos are great quality. She is a gorgeous girl with a great personality, she never comes across as rude or stuck up, she provides lots of information in each video, and she is so funny. I recommend her to all of you Dolls!
That's all folks!
I didn't have that many non-beauty favorites this month because I have been buying more beauty products than anything. With that said I have some new makeup tutorials coming soon. So, stay tuned! (Hey I'm a poetic and I didn't even know it!)

Review: Aquafresh Extreme Clean Toothpaste

Hey Dolls!

I am sure we have all seen that toothpaste commercial with the people who had their tooth paste switched out with the Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste. Well, I like many others got suck into the claims of the toothpaste. So, a couple of weeks ago I picked it up and tested it out. I have been using it in conjunction with my little brother and I figured it would a good idea to share my thoughts with on this toothpaste with you guys. Which is why today's post will be a review on the Aquafresh Extreme toothpaste. I will give a brief overview of the product, the pros and cons, and my final thoughts of the product. So, without further a do let's jump into it!

Let's begin with an overview.

This is a toothpaste which claims to deep clean the teeth. It says it has micro-active foam which goes into hard to reach areas of the mouth, fights bad breath, and rinses clean. It retails for $5.00 at Target. It is available anywhere toothpaste is sold. (I.E. Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc.)

Now my pros.
  • Leaves teeth feeling clean.
  • Breath is minty for a while after brushing.
  • Foams in mouth immediately.
Onto my cons.
  •  NONE!
Lastly my thoughts on the product.

This toothpaste is awesome! It leave the teeth squeaky clean and the breath minty fresh. I never have to worry about awkward stall breath at any point in the day. It gently cleans. My brother often complains about peeling of his "mouth" skin with other toothpastes. However he does not with this toothpaste. I highly recommend this product to everyone!

That's all folks!

Back Pack Essentials

Hey Dolls!

For some of you school is underway and for others school still has not started yet. With that said I wanted to add another post to my back to school series. This post is going to be about the most important thing you need for school... YOUR BACK PACK! There are a few essentials that I believe every girl's back pack should have. Of course, I wanted to share those essentials with you Dolls! So, without further a do let's jump into it!

P.S. To see any of the other back to school posts in this series scroll to the bottom of this post. There you will see labels. Click on the 'back to school' label. Once you have clicked on that label all of the back to school posts should appear.

  1. A backpack: A sturdy back pack can really make your school life easier. Make sure your back pack is well put together an can stand the weight of heavy books, computers, and etc. Also, make sure you have enough space to put in everything you may need. Small bags maybe cute but, they are not practical.
  2. Your books: This is a no brainer...
  3. Organizers (of some sort.): Whether you use a binder, folders, or any other organizer you should always have something to keep your work in order. TIP: Use different color organizers for each subject.
  4. A student planner: A planner is a great resource. It can help you help you keep track of your extra curricular activities, homework assignments, and any appointments you may have.
  5. Gum or mints: This is a great way to freshen up your breath when a tooth brush is unable.
  6. Hand sanitizer: Every thing in the world is germy but, a school is extra germy. Use hand sanitizer to help you reduce your chance of sickness.
  7. A pencil case: Have plenty of pens, pencils, highlighters, and erasers handy. You never know when you will need a new one.
  8. Water: Hydration is important. Carry water around to keep yourself hydrated.
  9. A snack: In between snack you may get hungry carry a healthy snack with you.
  10. A makeup bag: Touch ups are a must! Carry your makeup bag with you for quick touch ups. (The link to my makeup bag post will be below.)
  11. Tampons or pads: sometimes our monthly friend likes to surprise us. Carry tampons and pads so you are never caught off guard.
  12. A brush: Hair can easily become unruly. Carry a brush to help tame the beast aka hair!
  13. A few hair pins and hair ties: You never know when your hair is going to start thinking for itself. Have bobby pins and hair ties on deck so you are never caught off guard.
That's all folks!
Those were my backpack essentials. Those items were a few things I believe every girl should carry in her backpack.

I hope this post was helpful. If you have comments, questions, or requests feel free to leave them below. If you would like to contact me refer to the 'follow me' page above. There you will find all of the different ways to get in contact with me. Remember to share this blog with your friends and family. Thank you for stopping by the makeup junkie! July Non-Beauty Favorites

Hey Dolls!

July has come to an end and it is now August! That means it's time for my July Non-Beauty Favorites. So, let's jump into!

Let's being with food...
  • Potbelly's Mediterranean Sandwich with Chicken on Whole Wheat- This is literally a sandwich from heaven. It has their zippy hummus, Feta Cheese, Artichoke Hearts, Roasted Red Peppers and Crispy Cucumbers. I add grilled chicken to the sandwich. I could eat this everyday I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good sandwich.
  • Sour Patch Kids extreme: I love all the sour patch kids flavors. they are my favorite candy. However I have recently found the extreme version and my gosh those things are so good! They are of course sour. Unlike the originals the gummy candy base is actually tangy. These have lots of flavor even after the sour sugar has been removed. I highly recommend these to sour candy lovers.
Onto music...
  • I love me some Iggy Azalea. Her energy is amazing. She just gives me life. Her newest album, entitled The New Classic, is amazing. I love all the cult classics such as Fancy or Work. However, I adore Black Widow and Rolex. Black Window features Rita Ora. The song is so electric and fun it really gets me going. I often listen to it while I do my makeup. It has most definitely been on repeat all month. Rolex is a slower song. It talks about misguided love. I cannot say that this song is energetic but I can say it has a good feel to it.
  • Ariana Grande is everything. Her last album gave me so much life its ridiculous. So, naturally I am excited for the new album coming out in August. As I wait for her next album I currently playing Break Free (her new single.) consistently. It is a energetic song about breaking free from a bad romance. The beat is easy to vide to and the lyrics are standard. I really love this song because she is diverting away from the Mariah Carey sound she had before. Yet, she is still using her amazing vocals to add a R&B edge to a pop song.
  • My last music favorite is Jhene Aiko. She dropped an outstanding mixtape last year. Now as the world awaits her first album she drops a teaser single entitled To Love & Die. This is a easy going song about love it mirror the style of the songs on her last mixtape. Her voice is soft and innocent which is in direct contrast to the lyrics of the song. I recommend her to people who enjoy Drake. Their style mirrors each other well.
Lastly APPS...
  • I am not a into video games and apps. However when I heard Kim Kardashian came out with a new game I was all about that life. The game is called Kim Kardashian Hollywood. In the game you are a person attempting to make it to the A list. I am obsessed with this game. I am currently #1, A-list and I have 68 million fans. I love that the game is easy to follow but, I hate that you lose so much energy trying to finish a job. However, unlike some people who play I am patient enough to wait for my character to he re-energized. Therefore, I have not spent real money on the game. I recommend it for girls who enjoy fun pass time games.
That's all Folks!

Favorite apps to Edit Instagram and Facebook pictures

Hey Dolls!

Welcome back to Makeup Junkie! So, I wanted to share with you Dolls my favorite apps for editing Instagram and Facebook pictures. I only use these if I see small imperfections such as pimples or scarring. Sometimes I will enhance the whiteness of my teeth or the under eye area if I want. I enhance these areas because phones, cameras, and etc. can dull your appearance and make small blemishes more noticeable. I stray away from huge changes such as weight loss, eye color, or changes in the dimensions of my face. I want to still look like myself once I complete the editing process. So, without further a do let's jump into my favorite apps for editing photos.

  1. Prefect 365- This app is great for enhancing my favorite face features as well as perfecting small imperfections. I use this app to remove blemishes, remove darkness from under my eyes, whiten my teeth, soften the skin and brighten my eyes. This gives app never makes me look fake or overdone. There are other features on the app such as slimming the face, adding makeup, wigs, eye colors and much more. I don't use those because I find that to look unnatural plus, I wear makeup so it isn't something I need to do. I like that this app is widely available. It can be found on android and all apple products it is free as well. Though there are some in-app purchases. (I have never purchased anything from this app.)
  2. Photo Studio- This app is great because it has hundreds of different filters and exposures. I like this because they seem to work a bit better than the Instagram filters. It is free and easy to use.
  3. Pic college- I like to create colleges when I have several pictures I want to show. (This way I am not making a million post.) This app is simple and great for creating unique colleges. There are hundreds of cool stickers, fonts, and borders that can be used. Also, like the other apps it is free. Although, there are some in-app purchases. (I have never purchased anything from this app.)
That's all folks!

June Non-Beauty Favorites

Hey Dolls!

Yesterday I posted my June Beauty Favorites. So, I decided to also do a non-beauty favorites. This favorites post will contain my current favorite songs, pieces of clothing, foods, TV show etc. etc. I hope you all enjoy this post. So, without further a do lets jump into it.

Lets begin with songs! I have two favorite songs this month and one artist.
  1. Rude by Magic has literally been on repeat for a good two to three weeks. I love the Caribbean feel of the song. It's perfect for summertime. I am sure I will continue to listen to this song like its no tomorrow.
  2. This next song has me turning my hairbrush into a microphone every time it's on. The song is Pills and Potions by Nicki Minaj. I am beyond in love with this song. I cannot go a day without listening to at least five times. I recommend song to all of you Dolls.
  3. My new favorite artist is G-Easy. He is a Bay Area rapper. He recently dropped an album called These Things Happen. My favorite songs on the album are  I Mean it, Let's Get Lost, Lotta That, and Tumblr Girls. He has a hip hop, rock, pop feel to him. His music is great for people who aren't into hardcore rap but enjoy more party music. I recommend all of you go out and listen to this album because it is great!
Now to CLOTHES!
  1. I'm not super into clothes buying clothes. My style is pretty simple. I like to wear earth tone basics (t-shirts, jeans, etc.) and add little accessories to bring in color. Such as a scarf, shoes, a necklace, or something else along those lines. Plus, I am a larger girl (I fit pants in 12-14 in plus sizes and I have a fairly larger bust.) so, it's hard to find clothes that suit my style and my body. One of my favorite stores is Forever 21. They have great plus size jeans and their contemporary section fit my style perfectly. Their high waisted denim jeggings in the plus size section are awesome to add a beautifully slender, well put together look to any basic outfit. They are comfy and come in three shades. I also love the basic jeans and jean shorts they have as well. They too are comfy. I love that their pants are made for different lengths. That way short girls (like myself) no longer have to get their pants tailored or have to cuff them. I totally recommend these to anyone who likes to wear crop tops or anyone how has muffin top issues.
Hooray it's time to talk about food!!!!!!
  1. I am a pretty healthy eater. I love fruits and veggies. So, now that it is summertime I am really enjoying all the seasonal fruits like nectarines, peaches, etc. Fruit is my favorite way to satisfy my sweet tooth. My favorite fruits are strawberries and blueberries. I am loving paring berries with vanilla greek yogurt.
  2. My second favorite food are chia seeds. They have been all the rage lately. I decided to jump on the band wagon and I love them. I love how full I feel after I consume them. (They are filling because they are high in dietary fiber.) I personally enjoy them the most in my lemon water. They are tasteless and become gel like then in liquid. There are hundreds of different ways they can be consumed. I highly recommend them to people who are looking to control their food portions.
That's all folks!

That was my June non-beauty favorites. I hope you guys enjoyed this post. If you have questions or comments feel free to leave them in the comments section below. Remember to 1+, share, and follow my blog page. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!
